Der sehr selten dargestellte Prophet h\u00e4lt eine Schriftrolle in der Hand mit einer Prophezeiung auf die Geburt Jesu: \u201e Aber du, Betlehem-Efrata, so klein unter den Gauen Judas, aus dir wird mir einer hervorgehen, der \u00fcber Israel herrschen soll. Sein Ursprung liegt in ferner Vorzeit, in l\u00e4ngst vergangenen Tagen.\u201c (Micha 5,1)<\/p>\n

Unten links prophezeit Micha den Israeliten die Geburt Christi, rechts die zweite Wiederkunft Jesu beim J\u00fcngsten Gericht. Oben ist der segnende Gott-Vater zu sehen.<\/p>\n

The very rarely on icons depicted prophet holds a scroll in his hand with a prophecy about the birth of Jesus: \u201cBut you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, <\/span>though you are small among the clansb<\/a>]“>[ <\/sup>of Judah, <\/span><\/span>out of you will come for me <\/span>one who will be ruler over Israel, <\/span><\/span>whose origins are from of old, <\/span>from ancient times.“ (Micah 5:1)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In the lower left Micah prophesies the brth of Christ to the Israelites, on the right the second return of Jesus at the Last Judgement. Above the blessing God-Father is shown. On the left is St. John Chrysostmos, on the right St. Barbara.<\/p>\n
