Das ikonographisch \u00e4u\u00dferst seltene Triptychon zeigt links ein in der Ikonenmalerei ansonsten unbekanntes Motiv,<\/span><\/span><\/span> die Kreuzesvision des hl. Konstantin. Links oben erscheint Christus dem Konstantin im Traum. Darunter ist der Kaiser mit dem Kreuz abgebildet. Oben rechts reitet das Heer Konstantins, darunter sind die besiegten Soldaten des Maxentius zu sehen. Oben mittig ist die Kreuzesvision am Himmel dargestellt.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mittig ist das Motiv \u201eEingeborener Sohn, Wort Gottes\u201c dargestellt.. In der Bildmitte ist Christus Emmanuel in einer Rundaureole zu sehen, welche von zwei Engeln gehalten wird. Darunter ist das Motiv \u201eWeine nicht \u00fcber mich, Mutter\u201c abgebildet. Links unten ist Christus als Sieger verbildlicht: Als Krieger sitzt er auf dem Kreuz und sticht den Teufel nieder. Gegen\u00fcberliegend reitet der Tod auf einem Fabeltier. Links oben ist der Erzengel Michael, rechts oben der Erzengel Gabriel aufgemalt. Mittig sind der segnende Gott-Vater, die hl. Geist-Taube und die hl. Dreifaltigkeit (alttestl. Typus) dargestellt.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Der rechte Fl\u00fcgel zeigt das Sujet der Gottesmutter Pokrov.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The iconographically extremely rare triptych shows on the left a motif otherwise unknown in icon painting, Constantine`s vision of the cross. Above on the left Christ appears to Constantine in a dream. Below the emperor is depicted with the cross. In the upper right the riding army of Constantine is shown. Below the defeated soldiers of Maxentius are depicted. Above in the sky appears the vision of the cross.<\/span><\/p>\n

The motif „Christ, the only begotten Son“ is depicted in the middle. Christus Emmanuel can be seen in a round aureole which is held by two angels. Below is the motif „Do not weep for me, Mother“. On the lower left Christ is depicted as a victor: As a warrior he sits on the cross and stabs the devil. Opposite death rides on a mythical creature. <\/span><\/p>\n

The right wing shows the motif „Mother of God Pokrov“.<\/span><\/p>\n
