Der Titulus lautet immer \u201eChristus, das G\u00fctige Schweigen\u201c. Diese Christus-Engel-Darstellung geht auf Bibelstellen zur\u00fcck, wie Jesaja 42,2: \u201eEr schreit nicht und l\u00e4rmt nicht und l\u00e4sst seine Stimme nicht auf der Stra\u00dfe erschallen\u201c, aber auch auf theologische, sich um den vorgeburtlichen Christus, den praeexistenten Logos, drehende Gedankeng\u00e4nge.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">The motif of Christ Emmanuel in half-figure and with wings, who presents his hands crosswise in front of his bosom and who has a halo of eight points, is known in the Russian icon-painting since the 16th century. The title is always &#8222;Christ, The Blessed Silence&#8220;.\u00a0 This depiction of Christ as an angel is based on passages of the Bible, like Isaiah 42:2: \u201cHe will not shout or cry out, or raise his voice in the streets&#8220;, but the icon also reflects theological thoughts about the pre-existence of Christ.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Seit dem 16.
